Private wine tour in Luján de Cuyo: 3 wineries and lunch

About this experience

Discover Luján de Cuyo, known as the cradle of Malbec and just minutes from the city of Mendoza, on a private full-day tour designed and guided by a local guide. The tour is exclusive to your group, with a private driver and pickup at your accommodation.

Visit three boutique wineries, chosen for the quality of their wines, the warmth of their people, and for offering very different experiences from one another, so that the day is varied from beginning to end. We prefer authentic and cozy wineries over large, marketing-focused wineries. We work with a short, hand-picked selection, and the final choice depends on availability on your date.

Sample 3 to 4 mid-range and premium wines in each tasting, from emblematic Malbecs to local varietals, and finish with a three-course seasonal lunch paired at a distinguished restaurant in the MICHELIN Guide 2025 and 2026, where you can taste different wines from the winery.

Things to do in Cuyo

Guide

  • The snow-streaked summit of Aconcagua rising above a dry Andean valley

    Guide

Aconcagua, and what it takes to walk in

At 6,961 m it is the highest mountain outside Asia, and most people who see it do so from a car park on Ruta 7. The trek to Confluencia and Plaza de Mulas is the honest middle ground.

  • Route 7 running west out of Uspallata between bare Andean ridges

    Guide

The Alta Montaña road, Mendoza to the border

Route 7 west out of Mendoza climbs 3,000 metres to the Chilean border past Potrerillos, Uspallata, Puente del Inca and the Aconcagua lookout. What to stop for, and what the day actually costs you.
