About this experience

In San Rafael, Mendoza, the day begins with pickup at your accommodation from the center and private car transfer to Bodegas Bianchi. There you will cycle through the vineyards and participate in a wine tasting. Afterward, you will enjoy lunch at Finca Los Álamos and enter the Labyrinth of Borges. Borges will be the starting point: you can also suggest other authors to prepare the readings and activities before the meeting. No prior knowledge is needed. Includes entrance fees, lunch, and private round-trip transfers. The output is from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 18:00. An experience created and operated directly by dePostal Travel & Co.

Things to do in Cuyo

Guide

  • The snow-streaked summit of Aconcagua rising above a dry Andean valley

    Guide

Aconcagua, and what it takes to walk in

At 6,961 m it is the highest mountain outside Asia, and most people who see it do so from a car park on Ruta 7. The trek to Confluencia and Plaza de Mulas is the honest middle ground.

  • Route 7 running west out of Uspallata between bare Andean ridges

    Guide

The Alta Montaña road, Mendoza to the border

Route 7 west out of Mendoza climbs 3,000 metres to the Chilean border past Potrerillos, Uspallata, Puente del Inca and the Aconcagua lookout. What to stop for, and what the day actually costs you.
